Prof. Davis Will Be Presenting Human Computation and Crowdsourcing at the Basser Seminar Series

On Wednesday, 17 July, Professor Joseph Davis, the director of the Knowledge Discovery and Management Research Group, will present a talk on 'Human Computation and Crowdsourcing' at the Basser Seminar Series, School of IT, the University of Sydney.

Harnessing human computation through crowdsourcing and its integration with machine computation has emerged as an important research focus and new venture activity space in recent years. I will present the conceptual foundations and review some of the exciting research directions in this area. Ongoing crowdsourcing-related research at the Knowledge Discovery and Management Research Group that I direct will also be discussed.
