DMiST is a scientific project combining the areas of computational geometry, data mining, databases and algorithm design. The movement of objects (e.g. cars, people, animals) can be represented by trajectories in the plane polylines). Analysing these polylines and trying to find interesting patterns such as where animals meet to form a flock is the aim of the project.
